Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Elmira, NY

Contract | Night Shift

• Provide direct patient care within a telemetry unit using both primary and team nursing models
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data throughout each shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and positive outcomes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification required prior to start
• Current BLS certification required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required prior to start
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips prior to arriving at the facility

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
• Familiarity with both primary and team nursing care delivery models

• Opportunity to work in a specialized telemetry setting and further develop cardiac nursing expertise
