The Safety Coordinator is an entry‑level position based in Buffalo, New York. The role supports the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in managing and implementing environmental health and safety programs. The successful candidate will be proactive, dynamic, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Conduct risk assessments to identify and eliminate or reduce the severity of hazards.
• Conduct periodic facility audits to ensure compliance with established EHS programs.
• Facilitate employee training.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective measure determination.
• Maintain accident records and provide reports as needed.
• Provide reports to management.
• Work with the EHS Manager to identify key risks in safety programs.
• Help prepare for outside audits.
• Collect safety statistics.
• Perform other site‑specific duties as defined by the EHS Manager.

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field (preferred).
• One to two years of experience related to occupational safety (preferred).
• Manufacturing‑related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Alchemy experience is a plus but not required.

Salary: $64,000 – $70,000 per year.
