Division of Eligibility & Marketplace Integration (DEMI). Bureau of Quality Management and Change Control.
Base pay range: $82,000.00/yr - $99,000.00/yr
DutiesUnder the direct supervision of the Bureau Director, the Change Control and Quality Assurance Data Manager will provide key management support in the Bureau’s Buffalo location and will help execute the Bureau’s change management and quality assurance objectives geared toward ensuring quality customer service at the NY State of Health customer service center.
- Guiding, mentoring and coaching staff responsible for change management and quality assurance reviews
- Analyzing compiled quality assurance data to generate contractual reports and identify error trends
- Leading the team responsible for change management efforts designed to ensure Contractor policies, procedures and training materials remain up to date for call center and document processing agents
- Spearheading quality assurance activities designed to evaluate the Contractor’s performance, specifically work related to assisting consumers with applying for Medicaid through the new eligibility system
- Serving as Office Manager to handle office logistical needs and ensure staff have adequate resources to work safely, effectively, and efficiently
- Level 1: 10 years of professional experience, 5 years of subject matter experience, supervisory experience
- Level 2: 12 years of professional experience, 7 years of subject matter expert experience, supervisory experience
Preferred candidates will have strong management skills and professional experience in quality assurance, reporting and/or procedures development, as well as experience with public health insurance programs such as New York’s Medicaid and/or Medicare. Preferred candidates will also have excellent written communication skills; strong analytical skills and attention to detail; strong organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access); the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines;
and experience using electronic data systems such as eMedNY and NYSOH Back Office. Supervisory experience is a plus.
