Postdoctoral Associate

Position Summary

A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Department of Biochemistry immediately to investigate the relationship among chromatin, transcription and their interactions with environment. Specifically, the project will:

• Address a fundamental knowledge gap about how chromatin structure determines transcription at a global scale and how they respond to different environmental factors.
• Integrate cutting-edge genomics and computational analyses to investigate transcriptome, epigenome and chromatin architecture.

• PhD degree in any relevant field of Biology
• Molecular biology or bioinformatics skills

• Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in molecular biology or computational biology
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred to have experience with animal models, molecular biology and/or genomics

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Work Hours:

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
