You will generate new business with clients seeking large‑scale, enterprise managed service programs (MSPs) and employer‑of‑record (EOR) services through relationship‑building. You will contact prospects to obtain leads, RFPs, and general information about potential customers' workforce strategies. Within the first 90 to 180 days, you will build and progress a qualified pipeline reflecting our target industries, generate executive‑level conversations related to MSP and EOR solutions, and orchestrate well‑primed meetings for our senior BD leaders to close.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be Doing
- Executing Campaigns: Develop and execute outbound and inbound campaigns across email, social media, phone, and other channels to generate and nurture qualified leads.
- Developing & Refining the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP): Research and define the ICP and target accounts, with a focus on large enterprise opportunities.
- Prospecting: Utilize tools such as Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, and MS Dynamics to build contact lists, identify decision‑makers, and initiate conversations.
- Conducting Outreach: Conduct consistent outreach to prospective clients to promote our MSP and EOR solutions and generate RFP opportunities.
- Partnering to Win: Collaborate with the VPs and Directors of Business Development to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Work closely with Marketing on joint initiatives, including campaigns, social media, and events.
- Research & Manage Data: Conduct detailed research on target companies (location, revenue, employee count, business lines, etc.) and maintain accurate, validated data in CRM and internal databases.
- Qualify Leads: Qualify leads, schedule meetings for senior business development leaders, and ensure smooth progression through the sales funnel.
- Engage Clients: Ensure timely follow‑up and responsiveness to inquiries to build strong relationships and establish credibility with prospects.
- Support Reporting & Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness and lead generation activities to continuously improve performance.
- Evangelize the Brand: Promote the company brand by effectively representing Broadleaf at industry events, business organizations, and community activities.
- Two years of experience in a new business development role doing cold calling and/or lead generation.
- One year of prior workforce solution industry experience.
- One year of experience with MS Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A positive and professional image.
