Sales Representative, Advertising Sales

Our Lamar office in Buffalo, New York, is now hiring a new Account Executive (salary + commission) to help us bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Buffalo, NY, and the surrounding areas.
Position OverviewThe purpose of the Sales Account Executive position is to meet and exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. An Account Executive is expected to use professional sales techniques, build relationships, and develop long-term relationships that grow sales for Lamar Advertising.
This is not a remote position. 100% in the office.
What You Can Expect From Us- A Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm work schedule with paid holidays
- First-year earning potential of $60,000 - $65,000 / year, dependent on relevant experience and qualifications

- Ability to make oral presentations and explain policies and procedures
- Skill in communicating with diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
- Working knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite on Surface Pros
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- Ability to explain the outdoor advertising business from installation to product standpoint
- Skill in writing grammatically correct business correspondence
- Ability to perform under fluctuating workloads
- Skill in selling outdoor advertisements and establishing rapport
- Ability to meet sales quotas and apply general sales techniques
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- College Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years media sales experience required
- Outdoor advertising sales experience and CRM experience preferred
