Sales Director

Seeking a hands-on Director of Sales to lead and modernize a growing sales organization. This role will oversee a team of Account Managers responsible for retail, specialty, ecommerce, and major accounts while driving sales growth, accountability, and process improvements.

• Lead sales strategy, account growth, and new business development across all sales channels.
• Manage, coach, and develop a 4-person sales team through KPI-driven performance management.
• Establish sales processes, playbooks, CRM best practices, and reporting dashboards.
• Drive a proactive, data-driven sales culture focused on revenue growth and account expansion.
• Partner with Marketing on retailer campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve compensation and incentive programs.
• Travel monthly to visit retailers, support field sales efforts, and attend 4-8 annual trade shows.
• Maintain active involvement with key accounts, major opportunities, and customer relationships.

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience with sales leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success leading and developing sales teams.
• Experience with KPI management, sales forecasting, process improvement, and incentive programs.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• CRM experience required;
  Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on selling and customer engagement.
• Experience in consumer products, jewelry, gift, fashion, accessories, or similar industries is preferred.
