This is a proactive new-business role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective corporate clients, opening new accounts, developing long-term relationships and delivering profitable sales growth.

The role will focus particularly on luxury corporate gifting, employee and executive gifting, client gifts, events, hospitality, partnerships and bespoke opportunities.

You will act as an ambassador for Aspinal of London in the US, presenting the brand at the appropriate luxury level while maintaining a strong focus on commercial results.

Key Responsibilities New Business Development

  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers including Executive Assistants, HR and People teams, Marketing, Procurement, Events, Client Services and senior executives.
  • Generate new leads through networking, referrals, events, outreach and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop opportunities across sectors including financial services, professional services, luxury, hospitality, property, technology, entertainment and other premium businesses.
  • Identify opportunities with hotels, private members' clubs, concierge businesses, event companies and corporate gifting agencies.
Sales & Account Management
  • Own the US corporate sales pipeline from initial introduction through to order completion.
  • Develop existing accounts into repeat, long-term customers.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate Aspinal products and gifting solutions.
  • Present proposals, quotations and product selections to clients.
  • Negotiate commercially appropriate deals while protecting brand positioning and margin.
  • Work towards agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain regular contact with key clients and identify future gifting occasions and opportunities.
Corporate Gifting & Bespoke Projects
  • Develop gifting programmes for Christmas, employee recognition, client entertainment, conferences, events and other corporate occasions.
  • Promote Aspinal's personalisation and bespoke capabilities, including monogramming and branded gifting where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the UK Corporate, Merchandising, Production and Customer Services teams to deliver larger and bespoke orders.
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience from initial enquiry through to delivery.
US Market Development
  • Build Aspinal's network and corporate presence within the US market.
  • Identify relevant events, partnerships and networking opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback on US customer demand, competitors, pricing and market opportunities.
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships that could introduce Aspinal to new corporate audiences.
What We're Looking For

  • Experience selling luxury products, premium services or high-value corporate solutions.
  • Confidence approaching and developing relationships with senior decision-makers.
