Parking Attendant

On Call Valet Attendant (PT) - Buffalo, NY

Summary Of Position Ensure the safety of guests, contractors, and employees while they enter and exit parking ramps and lots while maintaining high customer service. Ensure vehicle safety, monitor and control patron movements using various service methods.

• Provide a high level of service to patrons before, during, and after events; aim for 100% positive interaction.
• Accurately and responsibly handle money and create change in a fast‑paced environment.
• Monitor the access and egress of patrons in parking ramp and surface parking lot.
• Conduct routine surveillance rounds around parking lots including the immediate perimeter.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Remain calm and professional in all situations.
• Monitor assigned areas to ensure guest safety and compliance with building policy.
• Remove trash, debris, and refuse; dispose properly.
• Greet, monitor, and control movements of patrons, visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Report pertinent safety, maintenance, and personnel information to supervisor.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Create documentation for all pertinent events and maintain daily log sheets.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain New York State certification and be of good character.
• Previous parking lot, cash handling, and/or security experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk for extended periods; walk stairs; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing and able to respond to emergent situations.
• Must be able to work irregular hours including weekends, overnight shifts, holidays, and forced overtime.
• Must be able to work effectively with limited supervision at times.

This is an hourly role and will pay $17.50 per hour.
