As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Team in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics & distribution, and more. As a part‑time security officer you can build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and provide outstanding customer service and communication, supporting a secure environment for all personnel. Saturday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Sunday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activities or security‑related concerns within the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security‑related observations as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
• Assist with access control procedures to help deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the logistics and distribution environment.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
