As a trainee, you will complete a 12‑month training program, including an eight‑week formal course at the Correctional Services Training Academy.

Correction officers are responsible for the custody and security, as well as the safety and well‑being, of incarcerated individuals in state correctional facilities, shock incarceration correctional facilities, work release centers, and a drug‑treatment campus.

Salary range includes a $5,000 annual geographic pay differential.
