Job SummaryResponsible for the installation and maintenance of ATMs and Air/Vac equipment.
EssentialJob Duties / Responsibilities
- Install, convert, repair and remove ATMs, Air/Vac, and other equipment.
- Perform cash replenishment and coin removal as scheduled and requested.
- Partner with the territory dispatcher to execute dispatch requests.
- Complete tasks as assigned by supervisor or applicable Cash Depot staff.
- Communicate inventory and support requests to complete scheduled tasks accurately and on time.
- Perform administrative paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Maintain department metric standards in efficiency, safety and first‑time fix rate.
- Assist other technicians and help train or provide ride‑along training.
- Follow all security procedures and policies.
Job Duties / Expectations
- Maintain a professional image and vehicle.
- Maintain inventory standards as required.
- Attend state‑wide training and maintain technical competencies.
- Identify and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Operate as a team player and handle training requests.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Flexible work schedule with on‑call duty.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- High School Degree / GED.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be insured through Company’s risk insurer.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Federal Medical Certification) – required.
- Ability to drive a vehicle over 50% of the shift.
- Physical ability to lift and perform tasks safely.
- Experience troubleshooting or electro‑mechanical work.
- Ability to follow Field Service Handbook.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Profound organizational, detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Adaptability to workplace changes and duty assignments.
Field technicians must lift and carry items ranging from 34 lbs. to 310 lbs. with lifting equipment. ATM machines weighing 280‑875 lbs. may require two technicians. Typical tasks involve lifting up to 150 lbs., standing, walking, and carrying items up to 100 lbs., with occasional lifting of heavier equipment.
Work EnvironmentThis full‑time position involves traveling in a van and operating in various weather conditions. Approximately 50% of the shift will be spent on customer sites. The role requires operating lifting equipment, hand tools, an iPad and cell phone.
