• Hourly Pay: $35.91 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 every quarter

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification / Post‑secondary degree or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:
  • Routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, storyteller brakes, tire work)
  • Diagnostics and repairs (AC, electrical systems)
  • Advanced skilled repairs – major engine, diesel after treatment, automotive fuel injection – required
• Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class demonstrator A preferred
• All other certifications required by location

• Ability to perform all T3 tasks
• Advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance

• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability for shift work, weekends, and on‑call duty
• Prefer ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, Electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic
• Proficient operating shop computers and diagnostic equipment
• Minimum tool requirement
• Road test vehicles as necessary
• Coaching/mentoring/influencing others

• Drive Ryder vehicles; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
• Pass Ryder Drug Test; pass DOT Physical; pass Ryder road test
• Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years)

• SBTIII trained within 180 days (SBT

• Complete all OEM online diagnostic scan‑tool software courses as required by location fleet mix (complete within 365 days)
• Complete instructor‑led OEM coursesАлoreen required to support location fleet mix
• Vehicle maintenance and repair duties including:
  • Standard vehicle maintenance
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Complex repairs with minimal or no support
  • Using internal and external maintenance documents
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems; utilize diagnostic computers/software when applicable
• Remote triage with RCRC and customers to determine best solution for roadside breakdowns
• Facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to assess nature of complaint once assigned a task
• Lead other technicians on maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics
• Coach/mentor other level technicians
• Advise shop management and other technicians on shop repairs
• Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Work in accordance with all federal, provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT)
• Other support duties as required to support operations; may include Service Island support
