City of Buffalo seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a variety of specialized and heavy-duty equipment, including back hoe, front-end loader, dump trucks with plows, bulldozers, and more. You will follow work orders and supervisor directions on assigned shifts and may supervise Laborers.
Open and Promotional vacancies require one year of full-time experience or verifiable training, plus a valid Class A CDL with airbrakes;
Excavator training may be required during employment.
