Data Center Cooling Service Technician

Do you thrive on solving complex chiller challenges?

Put your expertise to work as a remote Data Center Cooling Service Technician. You’ll travel about 80% of the time to customer sites nationwide, leading start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning for diverse chiller platforms that keep mission‑critical data centers running reliably. You’ll also service supporting HVAC equipment like air handlers, custom DX systems, and rooftop units.

What problems will you tackle?

Can you bring a new chiller online and confirm every parameter is dialed in? You’ll handle full start-up and commissioning.

When systems stumble, can you find the fault fast—electrical anomaly, refrigerant issue, or airflow imbalance—and fix it?

Do safety interlocks and control sequences behave exactly as designed? You’ll verify and document proper operation.

Post‑installation hiccups? You’ll partner with project managers and installers to resolve them quickly.

How do you keep stakeholders informed? You’ll clearly communicate performance, improvements, and service needs.

What proves the work? Detailed service records—tests, parts, adjustments—captured every visit.

How do you stay safe and compliant? By following codes, safety standards, and company procedures.

How do you stay sharp? Ongoing training on diagnostics, controls, and energy‑efficient practices.

Are you a match?4+ years running solo in commercial HVAC service with a focus on chillers (Journeyman).2+ years executing chiller start-ups/commissioning.

High fluency with wiring diagrams and controls.

Solid background in commercial A/C and heating, water‑source heat pumps, and packaged RTUs.Comfortable booking your own travel and working independently at jobsites nationwide.

Advanced command of the refrigeration cycle.

EPA certification.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Where and how you’ll work Remote position with extensive travel (approximately 80%) to support customers across the country.
