Senior API Designer; Java​/Boot

Job Summary: Our banking client will starting a debit card processing conversion from its homegrown system to a new system.
This role involves assisting with the API design, development, system integration for a mission-critical banking transformation.

• Helps with design and API build outfor seamless system integration and ensuring smooth data flows
• Develop and optimize Java and Spring Boot solutions.
• Troubleshoot and enhance middleware interactions with 30+ banking applications.

• Senior-level Java and Spring Boot expertise – Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x required
• API development experience
• Banking system integration experience (Payments/Cards, Fiserv preferred)
• End-to-end SDLC experience with minimal guidance
• Agile experience using Jira / Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving and communication
