FIRE SPRINKLER SALES/ESTIMATOR - FIRE SPRINKLER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Allsouth Sprinkler Company is a full-service licensed Fire Sprinkler Contractor with corporate offices in Buford GA. ASC was established in 1973 and specializes in design, fabrication, and installation of large warehouse ESFR systems. We are seeking a skilled estimator/salesman to generate system layouts and cost estimates. As part of a professional and highly experienced team, you will be mentored in best practices and become knowledgeable of NFPA and life safety code requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create Fire Protection layouts, estimates, and material lists
• Estimate total cost of materials, labor, and misc. items
• Communicate with customers as needed to clarify to completion
• Create and deliver proposals in a timely fashion that meets or exceeds expectations
• Communicate with other departments to optimize design efficiency for fabrication and installation of systems
• Maintain documents for Design and Project Management

Requirements:

• Fire Sprinkler experience
• Microsoft Office skills, Outlook, Word, Excel for calculations and organization
• Able to read engineer/design, architectural, and structural blueprints.
• Fundamental understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminology
• Interpret customer supplied drawings and develop layouts
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Skilled time management with ability to prioritize tasks and consistently complete projects accurately
• Work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Be proactive with enthusiasm and determination to improve yourself, the process and business where possible
• Ensure quality assurance of completed work prior to sharing with managers
• Self-confidence, self-motivated, self-starter
• Neat, clean, professional appearance
• Integrity, honest, and fairness with self and others
• High level of self-discipline, motivation, and ability to operate in a team environment

Education and

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical school certification preferred.
• 1-3 yrs. experience with fire sprinkler layouts preferred
• CAD experience preferred
• Microsoft Office;
  Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Mostly quiet office environment with moderate noise with computers, printers, and light traffic
• Office expectations to work well with other colleagues, and carry out all tasks in a professional manner and effectively communicate with both internal and external parties
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, stooping, bending, reaching, and stretching occur daily
• Professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment

Office Hours in Buford GA:

• Monday - Thursday 7am to 5pm
• Friday 7am - 11am

Compensation:

• Base pay
• Commissions
• Bonus program
• Company vehicle
