Hub Spot Automation & Integrations Manager
We’re hiring a Hub Spot Marketing Automation & Integrations Manager to build, manage, and optimize complex marketing workflows across multiple brands — and to own the systems and integrations that power those workflows end to end.
This role is deeply hands‑on in Hub Spot and focuses on executing lifecycle automation by connecting segmentation, enrollment logic, email execution, and timing to support high‑volume, multi‑brand campaigns. In addition, this role extends beyond Hub Spot to manage the technical integrations between Hub Spot and our directory websites and internal systems.
You’ll work inside Hub Spot daily, owning the setup, QA, and launch of automated workflows — while also understanding how data flows between Hub Spot and our platforms, and making targeted technical updates when needed.
What you’ll do- Build, manage, and optimize Hub Spot marketing workflows across multiple brands
- Draft, format, and QA marketing emails using established brand voice and templates
- Set up lists, segmentation, enrollment rules, suppression logic, and re‑enrollment criteria
- Own campaign QA before launch (links, personalization tokens, formatting, timing, sequencing)
- Maintain organized workflow naming, documentation, and versioning
- Monitor performance and suggest improvements to subject lines, content, timing, and logic
- Support A/B testing across emails and workflows
- Own the integration layer between Hub Spot and our directory websites and internal systems
- Use Hub Spot Operations Hub to manage data formatting, automation, and integration reliability
- Make light but intentional PHP edits to directory site widgets and integration logic
- Query and validate data directly using MySQL to troubleshoot sync issues and data discrepancies
- Understand how Hub Spot data is written to and read from external systems, and proactively identify risks
- Serve as the technical escalation point when workflows or integrations don’t behave as expected
- Strong hands‑on experience with Hub Spot marketing tools and workflows
- Comfort building and QA’ing complex workflows independently
- Experience with Hub Spot Operations Hub or automation‑focused tooling
- Working knowledge of PHP (able to read, modify, and safely update existing code)
- Working knowledge of MySQL (comfortable querying data to validate or troubleshoot issues)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ownership of execution
- Basic HTML/CSS for email template or module edits
- Experience analyzing email and automation performance metrics
- Familiarity with lifecycle or customer journey marketing
- Experience working across multiple brands, audiences, or high‑volume campaigns
- Understanding of email deliverability fundamentals (sender reputation, authentication, volume considerations)
Email and automation are core to how we drive engagement and revenue — but they only work when the systems behind them are solid. This role ensures our campaigns are clean, reliable, and scalable, and that the integrations powering them are understood, maintained, and improved over time.
This position exists because we need someone who can own both the Hub Spot execution and the integration layer behind it — not just push buttons inside the platform.
