The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing projects from start to finish, including the ability to develop detailed action plans that align with fixed timelines and incorporate thorough risk assessments. This individual should have a strong background in Research & Development (R&D), demonstrated success in managing bids and budgets, and a track record of leading teams of more than five people through complex, large-scale projects.

Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role requires clear coordination across teams, stakeholders, and timelines to ensure successful project execution.


Responsibilities:

As a Project manager, you will lead a variety of vital strategic projects that are linking directly with Theragenics development plan. These projects could be Production transfer, Product development or Business process implementation related. You can expect to work closely with multiple companies within Theragenics group. This role has high visibility with regular presentations to Snr. Management team to communicate project status, schedule, risks and other key program metrics.

You Will

  • Lead cross-functional / cross-BU teams on project execution. Guide them through the product/process development journey, ensuring project success and aligning with business objectives.
  • Develop and uphold project plans, schedules, risk registers, budgets, and resource allocation for designated projects. Champion timely and effective communication, continuously updating stakeholders on the project's advancement.
  • Manage project meetings, document meeting minutes and pivotal decisions, and diligently track action items.
  • Foster harmony between the project team, the business, and other stakeholders. Integrate input early in process development and quality planning.
  • Establish robust channels for both formal and informal communication, relaying accurate and current information to all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring stakeholder involvement in shaping end products and processes that effectively address business challenges.
  • Conduct month end project review on its progress and financial summary.
  • Contribute to project prioritization decisions by offering data-driven insights and analysis derived from ongoing and previous projects.
  • Qualification:

    Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other Scientific discipline equivalent background.
  • Minimum of 5 year experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in project management
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in Medical device or Pharma industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent skill in MS Project. Knowing business analysis tools such as Power BI.
  • PMP certification or other PMI certification.
  • In depth knowledge of medical device or Pharmaceutical R&D, product development, Validation and clinical/regulatory procedures.
  • Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating; managing change; goal setting; planning and organizing teamwork; ability to address difficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint and problem solving.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impact the business and its technical service and product strategies
  • Previously worked in contract manufacturing company, being an external customer facing person.
  • Good understanding on financial data and able to transfer financial objectives to quantifiable project objectives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical device standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485).
  • This is a full-time position on a Permanent contract with a view to starting in September 2025.
