Your Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital part in keeping our facility and extrusion equipment running reliably and efficiently. With mechanical expertise, you’ll handle installations, preventive and predictive maintenance, and repairs across a variety of systems. Flexibility is key—you’ll collaborate closely with production and management teams, respond to urgent needs, and help ensure maximum machine uptime.
- Complete all preventive and predictive maintenance actions on time and keep accurate records.
- Enter and track work orders for call-ins, preventive tasks, safety requests, and breakdowns.
- Organize and maintain the maintenance area, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Run electrical circuits and perform fabrication tasks such as welding (MIG/TIG), cutting, grinding, and equipment improvements.
- Ensure OSHA and safety standards are consistently met.
You are a highly skilled and adaptable maintenance professional with mechanical expertise. You thrive in hands-on environments, solving complex equipment challenges and optimizing machinery for maximum performance. With strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, you work seamlessly with production, engineering, and vendors to ensure uptime, safety, and operational excellence. Flexibility and a proactive mindset allow you to respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs, including after-hours support.
- Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Knowledge of safety, security practices, and OSHA standards.
- Hands‑on experience with fabrication, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and after‑hours call‑ins.
- Highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
