Shift & Pay
3rd shift (9:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.). Monday through Friday.
Rate: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Safety:
Ensure proper safety processes and techniques are followed. - Project Realization:
Contribute to installation of new machinery and equipment ensuring all necessary requirements are met. - Preventative and Facility Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and testing of production‑relevant equipment to prevent breakdowns and meet legal and safety requirements. - Troubleshooting and Repair:
Systematically troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair breakdowns using electrical schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment to minimize downtime. - Electrical Work:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair or replace electrical circuits and components. Understand control systems, PLC inputs/outputs, and basic set‑up parameters for VFDs. - Mechanical Work:
Cross‑train and support mechanical technicians for professional growth and development. - Documentation:
Effectively describe failures and repairs through written text when tracking maintenance tasks; make necessary changes to electrical schematics during upgrades or major modifications. - Support and Communication:
Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and supervisors across all departments to understand KRAIBURG TPE’s production process requirements, support uptime, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Two (2) year technical school and/or 2–5 years of on‑the‑job training
- Safety oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Arc Flash training
- Twin screw extruder technology
- PLC input/output, motor controls, automation
- Metal fabrication (TIG/MIG, Oxy/AC torch, plasma cutter)
- Inspection and setup of VFDs
- Knowledge of NFPA and NEC regulations
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals and electrical schematics
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
- Systematic troubleshooting
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Loss in weight feeders/dosing systems
- Operating vehicles and heavy‑lifting devices (forklift, scissor lift, cranes, etc.)
- Technology and software (CMMS, Word, Excel, InTouch, etc.)
