Job Description
The Lumber Production Associate reports to the Production Supervisor and supports efficient, safe, and accurate lumber production operations. This role operates saws, sanding, prepares and handles materials, inspects product quality, manages inventory, and prepares orders for shipment.
MULTIPLE OPENINGS! LOOKING FOR BASIC PRODUCTION, SANDERS, SAW OPERATORS, AND OR MILL PLANER, ETC.
Responsibilities
- Operate saws and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setup and prepare equipment for production runs.
- Inspect lumber for quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Handle and move lumber and production materials as needed.
- Manage inventory handling and maintain accurate material organization.
- Prepare completed orders for shipment or delivery.
- Follow workplace safety requirements and production procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in lumber production.
