Overview

Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate at Sam's Club. This role involves stocking, cleaning, and maintaining the freezer, cooler, and deli areas while delivering quality customer service.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials safely; and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise appropriately; completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation; and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member and identifying their needs; locating merchandise and assisting with purchasing decisions; providing Deli products to Members; resolving issues and concerns; and promoting the Company s products and services.
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following cold chain procedures when stocking merchandise; cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitoring fans, drains and doors for proper operation; and reporting issues to Management.
• Supports general department operations and maintains a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.

• Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
• Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
