As a Security Professional – Access Control Patrol in Buford, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail.

Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first care. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries related to access and security‑related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
• Support emergency response activities by following site‑specific instructions and assisting first responders as required.
• Collaborate with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security‑related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
