Truck Driver CDL B

Position: SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver – Ryder, Buford, GA.

Ryder is looking for a reliable, safety‑conscious driver to join our team as a SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver. If you want to switch from owner‑operator to a company driver and have your truck purchased, this could be the right fit.

• Weekly pay starts at $1,119 or more.
• Hourly rate: $23.58.
• Minimum 45+ hours per week.
• Safety bonus: $300 each quarter.
• Paid training.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, dispatch at 6:00 AM.

• Drive a 26' straight truck (the SOLO configuration) and deliver locally daily from Buford.
• Assist with freight handling – pallet and piece unloading.
• Equipments: manual & electric pallet jack, lift gate.
• Serve routes and maintain 24/7 roadside assistance from Ryder technicians.

• Paid time off starts at 80 hours in the first year.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with necessary endorsements.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background/motor‑vehicle check (3‑year verification).
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Experience:
  
  9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within past 5 years, or 5 years within past 10 years on tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, read and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load, unload, or assist with freight as required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
