Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

Mondays to Thursdays: 6:45am to 4pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch

break (8.5hrs).

Fridays: 6:45am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch break (8 hrs).

Service not required on

Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

All school holidays (except on requested days by the school)

• Assist the Discipline team in the overall management of the students’ discipline;
• Assist the Discipline team to conduct house visits with school personnel and make follow-up calls to parents;
• Manage students under inhouse detention, missing students and melanoma etc;
• Patrol the school premises to ensure student orderliness including routine traffic and canteen duties; free play areas and out of school (neighbouring blocks and playgrounds);
• Be involved in case management for students identified as at-risk
• Conduct investigations as part of case management (e.g. take statement from students) and submit report;
• Conduct spot-checks on students’ general neatness in appearance like attire and hair;
• Assist the Discipline team in maintaining student discipline during school functions and activities;
• Supervise / engage students with additional needs (SwANs) - selected case support;
• Participate in student management meetings
• Guide school staff to conduct investigations and manage student incidents/discipline
• Any other ad-hoc duties that work to support the development of at-risk students as assigned by the Authority.

• Minimally 3 years’ experience in enforcement agencies, to provide comprehensive case management and disciplinary support, via a restorative practice approach;
• Candidate must be able to work with young students and has the ability to build rapport with them and other school stakeholders;
• Candidates with prior experience in a primary school environment and student management experience will be given preference.
• Display traits such as service excellence, has a service-oriented attitude, is meticulous with details and efficient in meeting work deadlines;
• Basic ICT skills, able to perform data entries and log case incidents in Microsoft Office.
