Position Information:
Operating Room Technicians (ORT) are licensed practical nurses with advanced skills who assist surgeons, nurses, and other medical personnel during surgeries. Commonly referred to as scrubs or surgical technologists, ORTs handle responsibilities such as setting up surgical instruments, transporting patients to the operating room, and assisting surgeons with procedures (e.g., passing instruments, holding retractors, suturing).
Shift Details:- 5x8's: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- On Call as Needed
- Ability to scrub most specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, ENT
- CST Certification - Preferred
- BLS Certification - Required
