Operating Room Technician (ORT) - 5/8's
Position Information: Operating room technicians (ORT) are licensed practical nurses with advanced skills who provide assistance to surgeons, nurses, and other medical personnel during surgery. Commonly called scrubs or surgical technologists, they handle responsibilities such as setting up surgical instruments, transporting patients, and assisting surgeons with procedures (passing instruments, holding retractors, cutting sutures, etc.).
Shift: 5x8's - 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
On Call: As Needed.
Specialty Skills: Must be able to scrub most specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, ENT.
Certifications: CST Certification preferred; BLS required.
