Position: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient (892705)

Position Information:

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons; maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs, participating in discharge planning, performing administrative duties, participating in performance improvement (PI), pursuing professional growth, and performing other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy (OT) and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy and within Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Responsibilities include providing quality patient care, screening and evaluating patients, developing initial and ongoing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervising assistants and rehab techs, and case management. Maintain professional conduct that represents Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service in all interactions with clients.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.

Computer Skills:

Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation and basic Internet navigation skills.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
