RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

• 13-week assignment duration

• Must be flexible to work all nights of the week

• Patient ratio of 6:1 on a 32-bed unit

• No on-call requirements unless choosing to pick up for coverage

• Required to participate in float rotation and may need to float to PCU/ICU (low acuity)

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and AZ License

• No option for 48-hour guarantee or block scheduling

• RTO for one major holiday

• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel

• Provide medical/surgical and telemetry care to patients with cardiac monitoring needs
