Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Healthcare at The Legacy Rehab & Care Center. $3,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Employment (1-year commitment required).

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing setting.
• Monitor and assess resident conditions with a compassionate approach; observe and interpret symptoms and communicate effectively with physicians.
• Provide psychological support and create a comforting environment for residents.
• Address residents' needs and issues promptly to contribute to overall satisfaction.
• Prepare residents for examinations and conduct routine diagnostic checks with accurate documentation.
• Respond resiliently during healthcare emergencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Delegate and administer workloads to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Adhere to care regulations and standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise and guide support nursing staff on the designated unit.
• Provide on-call nursing coverage as needed to maintain responsive care.

• BSN or diploma in nursing.
• Obtain and maintain CPR certification.
• Obtain and maintain DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Active nursing license.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow them at all times.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsibility and compassion; evidence of continued learning to maintain proficiency in professional and technical knowledge.
• Exceptional problem solving, prioritizing, and multitasking skills.
