Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner, maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Pay Rate$15.00 /hr
Responsibilities- Possess aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare event tables for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient ability to use and navigate a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Standing, walking, hand use, reaching up to 65 inches, talking, hearing, reading, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs, balancing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling a wheeled demonstration cart, preparing foods and beverages with required appliances, and contact with cleaning supplies.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
- Physical Appearance: A neat, clean, professional appearance and proper grooming. Retailer dress code requirements are provided in training documents.

English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
