MOT Technician

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity within a reputable main dealership in Nottingham?

Our client is currently recruiting for a skilled MOT Technician to join their busy service department.

This role offers a highly competitive salary, ongoing manufacturer training, and excellent career progression prospects within a professional, well-established dealer group.

• Basic salary up to £38,000, negotiable depending on experience, plus bonus
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Manufacturer training and ongoing development

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
• Work efficiently and accurately to meet workshop targets
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a MOT Technician within a dealership or workshop environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT licence is beneficial but not essential
