Veterinary Receptionist​/Administrator

Overview

Bulwell Vets for Pets are looking for a team member to join on a permanent basis. If you enjoy providing great service and working in a team, this may be the opportunity for you.

• Provide exceptional service to clients and the best care possible to their pets, acting as the link between clients and the clinical team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, their pets and the practice team to support success.
• Ensure client satisfaction during visits and help clients understand the services received and look forward to future visits.
• Greet clients, offer guidance and expertise, and manage payments and future bookings confidently.
• Coordinate the day-to-day routines of the practice using the online booking system, requiring computer literacy.

This role is part-time with varying shifts averaging 29.5 hours per week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

• You are the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
• You can provide guidance by staying up-to-speed with the practice services and additional services available.
• You are calm, attentive and focused on the clients’ needs.
• You bring enthusiasm and drive to your role; your passion for service is matched with a love of pets.
• You can handle varying situations, from comforting a client who has received bad news to celebrating a puppy’s first visit to the vet. You contribute to creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
