At Archway Learning Trust, our vision ‘Working Together - Transforming Lives’ shapes everything we do. Rooted in Christian principles, we are a diverse family of primary and secondary academies across Nottingham and Derby committed to providing an excellent education for every child. Following a recent promotion, we are now seeking a new Trust Chaplain who will play a vital role in continuing to shape the spiritual life of our academies and further strengthen our Christian distinctiveness across the Trust.
Aboutthe Role
- Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral support for students and staff.
- Develop and embed the “Archway Way” of Christian distinctiveness.
- Lead and quality-assure Christian Youth Workers.
- Strengthen relationships between school, church, home and community.
- Support collective worship and formation activities.
- Act as Trust lead for Growing Faith Hub activity.
- Design and deliver professional development.
- Support SIAMS self-evaluation and improvement.
- Promote youth voice in shaping faith experiences.
- A practising Christian, with relevant experience and qualifications.
- Warm, pastoral and committed to serving young people.
- Leadership experience in education, church or youth work.
- Strong understanding of Christian formation and the Church of England Vision for Education.
- Skilled communicator able to build relationships across communities.
- Strategic thinker able to design high-quality programmes.
- Be part of a Trust guided by Christian values and a strong moral purpose.
- Work with dedicated leaders and Christian Youth Workers.
- Contribute to a culture where hope, aspiration, and personal growth are central.
- Lead the spiritual identity and development of the Archway family.
- Access professional development and Trust-wide collaboration.
