Exam Invigilator

Katherine Warington School is recruiting exam invigilators to join its team for its exam periods. The work covers setting up exam rooms, issuing papers, invigilating, collecting scripts, monitoring behaviour and scribing for students with access arrangements. Shifts are term-time only and flexible, with am and pm sessions starting at 8am or 12.30pm across exam seasons running to June 2027. An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

• Help set up exam rooms
• Create a calm environment in which candidates feel relaxed and confident
• Make sure the right students are in the right place at the right time
• Issue papers and materials to students and pass on key information
• Invigilate exams
• Collect papers at the end of each exam
• Work with the Exams Officer to make sure regulations are followed
• Monitor behaviour during exam sessions
• Scribe for students who have access arrangements in place
• Attend training and regular refresher sessions
