Lead Exam Invigilator

Verulam School, a boys' school with a mixed sixth form in the Ambition Education Trust, is recruiting a Lead Exam Invigilator reporting to the Examinations Officer. The post oversees the running of internal and external exams, keeping them within official regulations and school policy. It is hands-on: the holder supervises a team of invigilators, acts as the Examinations Officer's main contact during sessions and works through logistics and problems on the day.

Successful applicants must accept child protection screening, including a DBS check and checks with past employers.

• Oversee and support the delivery of internal and external examinations
• Supervise a team of invigilators
• Ensure exams are conducted in line with official regulations and school policies
• Act as the main point of contact for the Examinations Officer during exam sessions
