Publicity Assistant – Warner Bros. Discovery
Join Warner Bros. Discovery as a Publicity Assistant, providing administrative and creative support to Publicity Executives across the Warner Bros. Television Group.
Responsibilities- Administrative: Manage calendars, answer phones, coordinate conference calls, process expense reports, general filing, book travel for talent, traffic publicity invoices, and perform other administrative duties.
- Media Monitoring and Distribution: Conduct daily media searches, compile coverage, assist with clipping and internal news summaries.
- Publicity Events: Support event logistics and planning.
- Video Clips: Fulfill clip requests, track publicity clearance and licensing agreements, collaborate with legal on special requests.
- Other job‑related duties or projects as assigned.
- Work Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of administrative support in a studio, network or agency (public relations, talent/literary, etc.).
- Preferred internships in entertainment or public relations/communications.
- Education: College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge/
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet; understanding of social media platforms. - Passion for and general understanding of the entertainment industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, work independently, succeed in fast‑paced environments, and handle overtime as required.
- Team player, receptive to feedback, professional under pressure.
Competitive base salary of $37,113.00 – $68,925.00 per year. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards.
