Administrative Assistant

Burbank, CA

Full time – 3-month assignment w/ possible extension

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

$21hr to start

A leading aerospace designer and manufacturer of complex high-pressure duction systems for aircraft worldwide is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Burbank.

Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Quality Department, specifically within the DSQR (Delegated Supplier Quality Representative) area. This role is responsible for scanning, organizing, and maintaining quality documentation, tracking production routers for parts, and supporting daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Scan, upload, and electronically file quality documents within the DSQR area.
  • Organize, sort, and maintain quality records and documentation to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval.
  • Track and monitor production routers for parts, ensuring proper documentation and status updates.
  • Save, label, and maintain electronic files using established naming conventions and filing procedures.
  • Assist with document control and general administrative tasks within the Quality Department.
  • Verify scanned documents for completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Provide general clerical support to the quality team and assist with additional duties as assigned.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documentation.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate electronic filing systems.
  • Experience scanning, saving, organizing, and managing electronic documents.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to track paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage repetitive administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Previous administrative, clerical, manufacturing, or quality department experience is a plus.
