Manager, Global Sales Strategy & Planning

Warner Bros. Discovery seeks a Manager, Global Sales Strategy & Planning to provide strategic sales planning, analytical support, and pricing & deal analysis for the Global Content Sales group. The role supports the Sales team throughout the sales process, from package development to deal execution.

Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical sales support, pricing analysis and deal modeling for licensing deals and new business ventures.
  • Serve as point person for tracking historical sales, pricing and client activity; monitor market and industry trends including competitive deals and pricing.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Planning team to review avails for potential packages and develop opportunities.
  • Provide pricing for potential packages and deals under negotiation.
  • Partner with Finance to assist with the development of the Budget and Long-Range Plan, track sales and progress against plan, and analyze green lights, valuations and windowing decisions.
  • Partner with the Strategy team to develop business reviews, business cases and assessments of new revenue and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Research and Data Science teams to develop analytical support, track content performance and identify market/client opportunities.
  • Execute special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of media-related experience focused on strategic planning and analysis.
  • Preferred: experience in television distribution or sales, executive presentation skills, and familiarity with software systems.
  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced financial analysis and Excel modeling expertise.
  • Strategic and business planning experience.
  • Strong judgment, critical thinking and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for senior executive audiences.

Compensation

Pay Range: $79,100.00 – $ per year. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. Health insurance, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick time and vacation are also provided.
