Manager, Business Affairs

Are you a strategic dealmaker with experience in publishing, media, entertainment, or licensing? We're seeking a highly analytical and relationship-driven professional to lead deal analysis, support complex negotiations, and help drive innovative business strategies across content, talent, licensing, distribution, and media rights partnerships.

• Support the negotiation and execution of agreements involving creative talent, content, licensing, distribution, production, and media rights partners.
• Analyze and structure complex business deals, providing recommendations that align with financial goals and strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and executive leadership to develop and implement deal strategies.
• Evaluate market trends and industry benchmarks to support competitive and innovative contract terms.
• Administer talent rewards programs, including bonus recommendations and equity-related incentive programs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve approval processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in Business Affairs, Contracts, Licensing, Rights Management, Deal Negotiation, or a related function
• Experience supporting complex agreements within media, entertainment, publishing, licensing, digital products, or adjacent industries
• Strong financial, contractual, and business analysis skills
• Ability to evaluate deal structures and provide data-driven recommendations
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with executive presence
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Communications, Entertainment Management, or a related field
• Experience with in publishing, entertainment, media, licensing, or content-focused organizations
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as , Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or Miro
• Experience utilizing reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
