The ideal candidate will bring strong visual storytelling skills, deep familiarity with both creative and corporate aesthetics, and the ability to craft high-quality presentations used internally and externally with filmmakers, executives, partners, and at key live events/meetings.
Application Requirements
- Must have a Portfolio link or document - Demonstrating both Creative and Corporate examples in Presentation and Graphic Design
Your
Role Responsibilities:
Visual Communication and Design
- Collaborate with executives and filmmakers to design engaging, visually compelling presentations that communicate ideas clearly and powerfully.
- Establish and maintain original presentation templates that reflect the tone, aesthetics, and personality of the studio and each property / film.
- Leverage individual show assets from Photoshop and other design tools to create dynamic and visually rich compositions that highlights the strength of WBPA’s slate.
- Create both creative and corporate presentations, effectively combining visual storytelling with data visualization — including charts, graphs, and infographics — to support strategic, financial, or operational discussions.
- Enhance and refine existing decks to ensure visual consistency, polish, and professional presentation standards across all materials.
Brand Design and Adherence
- Design cohesive WBPA brand materials — including templates, letterheads, business cards, website visuals, and studio premiums — ensuring a unified visual identity across all studio documents and platforms.
- Ensure all presentation materials adhere to the company’s brand guidelines while maintaining flexibility for creative storytelling.
- Ensure presentations are consistent, accurate and error free.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with studio leadership and production teams to ensure presentations meet both creative and strategic objectives.
- Proactively clarify project briefs, confirm alignment on design direction, and communicate progress and needs effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy across deliverables.
Technical Proficiency and Tool Management
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Keynote and PowerPoint, including animations, transitions, and multimedia integration.
- Seamlessly convert files between presentation platforms (Keynote ↔ PowerPoint) while maintaining full design integrity.
- Embed and format video assets and other multimedia content into decks with reliable playback functionality.
- Stay current on design trends, software advancements, and presentation technologies to continually elevate WBPA’s presentation standards.
Your Qualifications and
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably within branding, entertainment, media, or marketing environments. Experience in animation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and ability to translate guidelines into cohesive, elegant visuals.
- A strong eye for design, color theory, visual composition, and typography.
- Proven expertise in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides; comfort moving fluidly among platforms.
- Experience designing both creative and marketing decks (film, IP, or campaign-driven) as well as corporate or strategic presentations incorporating data visualization, charts, and graphs.
- Exceptional attention to detail in design elements, formatting, and typography.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing visually engaging presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience in both digital and print mediums.
- Adobe Creative Suite expertise (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and experience with FPT (Flow Production Tracking) is advantageous.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of both independent and collaborative work.
