SAG-AFTRA Federal Credit Union was founded in 1962 as Los Angeles AFTRA Federal Credit Union, a financial resource for members of the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists. In 1971 the name was changed to Southern California AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union to reflect eligibility of members of the Screen Actors Guild. The credit union went national in 1976, and in 2015 changed its name to SAG-AFTRA Federal Credit Union.

Our membership is comprised of individuals who work in the entertainment industry and their families. As noted above SAG-AFTRA union members are eligible to join the credit union. Membership is also open to members of the American Federation of Musicians, Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, IATSE and many more!

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Electronic Services to join our Electronics Services Team.

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of basic and essential duties. The role may involve both general and specialized tasks, offering a dynamic work environment.

The AVP of Electronic Services is responsible for the leadership and oversight of all day-to-day EFT operations, ensuring the secure and efficient processing of electronic transactions such as ACH, wire transfers, card services, and digital payments. This role supports the VP of Operations in developing and executing departmental strategy, managing compliance, enhancing member experience, and implementing payment innovations.

• Supervise daily EFT functions including ACH, wires, debit/credit cards, ATM networks, bill pay, and digital payment platforms.
• Monitor workflow, resolve exceptions, and ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Support reconciliation of EFT-related GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in coordination with Accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of compliance and regulations pertaining to escheat, B and C notices and NRA’s.
• Diverse knowledge of State and Federal withholding; IRA Contributions and Distributions and processing.
• Review all activities for compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Regulations include but are not limited to:
  Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering / Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations. Participate in annual training as required by the BSA/OFAC Compliance Officer.
• Lead and develop EFT staff; provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Promote a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations including NACHA, Reg E, OFAC, PCI DSS, and internal policies.
• Assist in managing risk controls for fraud mitigation, data security, and dispute resolution.
• Respond to escalated member inquiries and transaction issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Member Services and IT to improve the member digital banking experience related to payments.
• Participate in strategic planning for EFT products and services.
• Assist in the implementation of new EFT technologies, vendor relationships, and system upgrades.
• Provide reporting and analysis to support executive decision‑making.
• Office setting.
• Occasional travel to branch locations, training, or vendor meetings may be required.
