About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join a specialty pharmacy team supporting patients undergoing fertility treatment.

This role offers variety in your day, rotating between phones, dispensing, and packing responsibilities while working closely with patients, providers, and payers.

What You’ll Do

Phone Duties

• Make and receive calls from patients regarding prescriptions, refills, benefits, and co‑pay programs.
• Obtain and manage prior authorizations; track status and expedite payer responses.
• Provide price estimates and collect self‑pay payments over the phone (common with fertility meds).
• Deliver clear, compassionate guidance to patients throughout their prescription process.

Dispensing Duties

• Support local patients who pick up medications onsite—deliver excellent in‑person customer service.
• Locate, prepare, label, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.

Packing Duties

• Prepare outgoing medication orders for shipment via Fed Ex.
• Ensure correct packaging, labeling, and handling of all fertility medication orders.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM
• (Must be flexible for any 8‑hour shift within that window: 9–5, 9:30–6, 10–6:30)
• When scheduled for a weekend rotation, you’ll receive a weekday off that same week.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience (retail preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Solid computer and phone navigation skills
• Ability to work directly with patients both in person and over the phone

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Bilingual – especially Mandarin or Cantonese
• Retail or specialty pharmacy experience
• Understanding of pharmacy insurance billing
