Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mid 5x8-Hour shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with potential for 4x10s. Rotating weekends are required, typically every 3rd or 4th weekend.

The Surgical Tech will be responsible for providing essential surgical support within the acute care hospital setting. The role includes ensuring that the operating room is ready for surgery and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

• Prepare operating room by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure aseptic technique is followed.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in quality assurance activities as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Certification in Sterile Processing (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA) preferred.
• Experience in an acute care surgical environment is required.
• Familiarity with various surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Urology, and Robotics.
