• Assist medical billing specialists with data entry, claims submission, and billing documentation
• Review and verify patient information for accuracy and completeness
• Support the processing of insurance claims and follow up on outstanding balances
• Help maintain organized billing records and patient accounts in billing software
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries
• Assist with posting payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company billing policies

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in medical billing or coding is a plus
• Basic understanding of medical billing, CPT/ICD-10 codes, or insurance processes preferred
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn billing software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
