Doorperson, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge all guests upon arrival and departure with genuine hospitality.
• Open doors, assist with luggage, and direct guests to check-in or other hotel areas.
• Coordinate closely with the valet, bell, and concierge teams to provide seamless service.
• Provide clear directions and information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
• Maintain an active presence at the hotel entrance, anticipating guest needs before they are expressed.
• Assist with calling taxis, ride shares, or other transportation as requested.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the hotel entrance and porte‑cochere area.
• Communicate effectively with front office when unusual activity is observed, ensuring the safety and security of the hotel entrance.
• Support special events, VIP arrivals, and group movements to ensure smooth flow and positive guest experiences.
• Resolve guest complains, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Uphold hotel grooming standards and maintain a professional, polished appearance at all times.
• Create schedules for the Bell/Valet department.
• Perform bi‑weekly payroll for the department.
