Job Summary
The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing private events, ensuring a flawless and memorable experience for every guest. Acting as the liaison between clients, the culinary team, and operations
, the Catering Coordinator oversees every detail-from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency in Delphi
. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, a strong understanding of event logistics, and the ability to balance client relationships with operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, culinary teams, and event operations.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, preferences, budget, and any dietary restrictions.
- Plan menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef to ensure every event reflects the client's goals and theme.
- Coordinate logistics with vendors such as florists, rental companies, and entertainment providers.
- Communicate with the Banquet Manager to organize event staffing and ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed to standard.
- Manage billing, contracts, and payments, ensuring all deposits and balances are collected before the event.
- Provide event diagrams and ensure all details are communicated clearly to internal teams.
- Collect feedback and handle post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.
