Your New Role...
The WBD Global Content Operations (GCO) runs worldwide post‑production services and sources, creates, customizes, and localizes all content from our studios, producers, marketers, and third‑party distributors to deliver for all our content outlets globally across streaming, TV networks, theatrical exhibitors, home entertainment licensing clients, marketing, advertising, and publicity. We operate post‑production across the US, LATAM, and Europe, and manage the content supply chain for over 3000 content platforms, 600 channels, 18 of our own streaming platforms and theaters worldwide in over 200 territories and localizing content in over 68 languages.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Operations Project Manager, Strategy & Business Development to support strategic change initiatives within Global Content Operations (GCO). The role is ideal for someone with at least two years of professional experience in project coordination, operations, or a related field, who thrives in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment. Typical programs and projects include organizational transformation initiatives, media supply chain technology implementations and integrations, and new product launches (HBO Max), etc.
This role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract located at our offices in Burbank, CA.
Your Role Accountabilities…- Stakeholder Support & Coordination:
Collaborate with stakeholders across GCO to plan, track, and communicate project objectives. Serve as a key point of contact for project‑related queries and provide timely updates and support throughout the project lifecycle. - Project Tracking & Reporting:
Assist in maintaining project plans, timelines, and status reports. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of progress, risks, and issues. Prepare updates for leadership and other stakeholders as needed. - Communication & Engagement:
Facilitate ongoing communication between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Ensure alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines across all involved parties. - Risk & Dependency Management:
Support the identification and tracking of project risks and dependencies. Coordinate mitigation plans and ensure visibility across teams. - Documentation & Process Support:
Maintain project documentation including business cases, requirements intake, and sign‑off records. Assist in periodic reviews to ensure documentation remains current and complete. - Global
Collaboration:
Work with regional teams to support the planning and execution of global change initiatives. Coordinate efforts across time zones and business units.
- 2+ years professional experience, ideally in a professional services or media company environment.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong willingness to learn about the media industry.
- Strong MS PowerPoint skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Relevant qualification in Program or Project Management.
- Experience with program / project management tooling and software (e.g., Atlassian, Monday, Asana, MS Project).
- Background in post‑production or media operations.
