This Business Analyst will support DC Comics technology initiatives, focusing on integrating new technologies and workflows. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for automating and optimizing business processes.
Your Role Accountabilities- Requirements & Design
:
Lead business requirements gathering with stakeholders across DC Comics, creating high-quality artifacts including requirement documents, user stories with concise acceptance criteria, current and future state process flows, functional design specifications, mock-ups and wireframes. Ensure documentation is always current. - Testing & Support
:
Plan and execute quality assurance (QA) testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for continuous improvement enhancements. Provide Level 1 application support for key publishing systems and understand dependencies and impacts across integrated systems and platforms within DC Comics. - Product Management Support
:
Assist senior business analysts and/or product managers with planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and contribute to product status updates.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred).
- 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Expertise in modeling/mapping current-state to future-state business processes.
- Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test planning, test case development, and execution.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), Snowflake, and publishing workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment.
- Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- High energy level, adaptive, and a strong team player with a good work ethic.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑starter and resilient when faced with challenges or setbacks.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with media and entertainment consumer products, especially publishing.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams (Tech teams, business stakeholders, etc.).
- Familiarity with publishing workflows and product lifecycle management.
- Experience with customized ERP applications and data infrastructure design.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Power BI, DAX, SQL
- Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Service Now (incident management, workflow tracking)
- Microsoft O365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)

Compensation and BenefitsIn compliance with local law, we disclose a pay range of $75,180.00 – $ per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time, and vacation.
